Today's target: the Royal Diving Centre, just 10 km south of Aqaba, in the direction of the Jordan-Saudi border, for six hours of sun, sea and snorkeling. And getting a really good sunburn, too.

It was the first time I went snorkeling. When I first looked down into the water I saw a world I had never seen before: the city of fish, normally off-limits to humans. Coral grew in many abundant colours, and fish darted wildly around for lack of anything else to do. To them, I must have seemed an intruder.
